This book is a single poem in the voice of a man that is telling of the coming of a female messiah that he has known intimately. She is One and many: Kali, the Hindu goddess of destruction and creation; Oya, the Yoruba Orisha of death and rebirth; the Holy Ghost, the woman returned to her rightful place in the Holy Trinity (’cause that Father, male child, and ghost stuff is clearly a manmade attempt at making divinity in His image). This book was written over 4 years, between 1999 and 2003. It is also my response (to the American response) to 9/11.
